Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Alice asks the grinning Cheshire Cat for directions — and gets none.
The Cat only grinned when it saw Alice. It looked good-natured, she thought; still it had very long claws and a great many teeth, so she felt it ought to be treated with respect.

In depth
Wattpad to audiobook is for writers who want their story heard, not just read. Wattpad stories are built for phones and published part by part, with big casts and lots of dialogue. That's exactly where one flat read-aloud voice falls down, and where a full cast shines: the love interest, the best friend and the rival each sound like themselves.
FullCastBook takes your parts, works out who says each line, and gives the narrator and every character a distinct voice. You check the cast, add direction where a scene needs it, and export audio you can share with your readers. It's built for your own stories; anyone else's needs the author's permission.
Wattpad's own text to speech has been reported as a beta on selected English stories, and it isn't on every story. Most readers who want to listen rely on their phone's built-in read-aloud instead. Either way, Wattpad text to speech means one voice reading everything, with no idea who is speaking and the same mispronounced name every time.
A voiced cast is something you make once, as the author. Every line of dialogue goes to the character who says it, a whispered confession is actually whispered, and you fix mistakes before any reader hears them. The result is a set of audio files you control, not a voice that depends on each reader's device.
To turn a Wattpad story into an audiobook, bring in the text the way you wrote it. If you draft in Word or Google Docs, upload the DOCX; otherwise copy each part's text from Wattpad and paste it. Each part becomes a chapter with its title, so the audio lines up with the story your readers know. Leave out author's notes and shout-outs, or keep a short one if your readers expect it.
Ongoing stories work the same way as serials: when you post a new part, add it to the same project, and the characters you've already cast keep their voices. When the story is complete, export it as one M4B with chapter markers. Long ongoing stories have more tips in web novel to audiobook.
Casting is where Wattpad to audiobook gets personal. Many Wattpad stories are written in first person, so the narrator is also the main character. Pick a narrator voice that suits the protagonist, and assign their quoted dialogue to that same voice so they sound like one person. Give the love interest and the closest friend clearly different voices; those are the ones readers hear most.
Text-message scenes need a decision. You can let the narrator read the messages, or assign each message to the character who sent it. Either works; just stay consistent across parts. For the big moments, a note like [whisper, like sharing a secret] or a [laugh] does more than any amount of italics.
Post the audio where your readers already listen: a video with your cover as the image, an audio host, a podcast feed or your own site. Then tell readers where to find it in an author's note at the end of the part and on your profile. Matching the audio to each part as you publish keeps everyone on the same page.
Listeners often notice things readers skim past, so their comments can be useful feedback for your next draft. The exported files are yours to use under our terms; for more ways readers turn stories into audio, see fanfiction to audiobook and the examples.
Wattpad to audiobook is built for your own work: your Wattpad story is yours to voice and share, though if it's part of a paid program or a publishing or adaptation deal, check who holds the audio rights before you post audio of it. Someone else's story is a different matter. Being free to read on Wattpad doesn't make it free to adapt, so ask the author first, say the voices are AI, and credit them if they agree. Who owns what, and when you need permission, is covered in audiobook rights.
Wattpad's own text to speech has been reported as a beta on selected English stories, so not every story has it. Readers can also use their phone's built-in read-aloud, which reads every line in one voice.
Yes. Wattpad to audiobook with FullCastBook starts with your parts: paste them or upload the DOCX you draft in, check the detected cast, pick voices and export MP3 per part or an M4B for the whole story.
Only with the author's permission. Stories on Wattpad are free to read but still owned by their authors, and an audiobook is an adaptation. Ask first, and tell them the voices are AI.
Post the audio where your readers listen, such as a video with your cover image, an audio host or a podcast feed, and point to it from an author's note at the end of the part and from your profile.
Yes, Wattpad to audiobook follows your posting schedule. Add each new part to the same project and it keeps the cast you already set, so characters sound the same from the first part to the last.
You get free credits when you sign up, with no card, enough to voice a sample part with a full cast. A whole story needs a paid plan; see pricing.
